DISCUSS THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN APPLICATION SOFTWARE AND SYSTEM SOFTWARE
INTRODUCTION TO SYSTEM SOFTWARE
Computer software, or simply software, is a
collection of data or computer instructions that tell the
computer how to work.
Systems software can be
categorized under the following:
1-Operating system: Harnesses
communication between hardware, system programs, and other
applications
2-Device driver: Enables device communication with the
OS and
other programs.
3-Firmware: Enables device
control and identification.
4- UTILITIES : Utilities are types of system
software which sits
between system and
application software
Driver software is a type of
system software so that we can use our devices
smoothly without any troubleshooting
problem. This type of software enables the components perform
their tasks as directed by the OS.
There are some examples of devices which requires drivers:
• Mouse
• Keyboard
• Touch pad
• Printer
Display card
• Network card
# Application software:
Simply is a software that
performs a single task, or activities for the benefit of the user.
As we know, there are two
major categories, which are:
Basic application, specialized
application
The most commonly used of
application software:
Multimedia tools
•word processing
•spreed sheet

INPUT AND OUT PUT DEVICES
WHAT IS THE INPUT DEVICES
- INPUT DEVICES IS : An input device is any hardware device
that sends data to a computer, allowing you to interact with and control it.
The picture shows Logitech trackball mouse,
which is an example of an input device.
The most commonly used or primary input
devices on a computer are the keyboard and mouse. However, there are dozens of
other devices that can also be used to
input data into the computer I will show it in the photo
- What does Output Device mean?
- What does Output Device mean?
An output device is any device used to send data from a computer to another device or user. Most computer data output that is meant for humans is in the form of audio or video. Thus, most output devices used by humans are in these categories. Examples include monitors, projectors, speakers, headphones and printers.
- DATA PROCESSING
Data processing is the conversion of data into usable and desired form. This conversion or “processing” is carried out using a predefined sequence of operations either manually or automatically. Most of the data processing is done by using computers and thus done automatically.
- Fundamentals of data processing & how data is processed
Data processing is undertaken by any activity
which requires a collection of data. This data collected needs to be stored,
sorted, processed, analyzed and presented. This complete
process can be divided into 6 simple primary stages which are:
1.
Data collection
2.
Storage of data
4.
Processing of data
5.
Data analysis
6.
Data presentation and conclusions

- TYPES OF COMPUTERS
- SUPERCOMPUTERS are the fastest and the most expensive computers. These huge computers are used to solve very complex science and engineering problems. Supercomputers get their processing power by taking advantage of parallel processing; they use lots of CPUs at the same time on one problem
- MINIFRAME COMPUTER It is a midsize multiprocessing computer. It consists of two or more processors and can support 4 to 200 users at one time. Miniframe computers are used in institutes and departments for the tasks such as billing, accounting and inventory management.
- MICROCOMPUTER is also known as personal computer. It is a general purpose computer that is designed for individual use. It has a microprocessor as a central processing unit, memory, storage area, input unit and output unit. Laptops and desktop computers are examples of microcomputers. to make my blog not boring i will show photo about microcomputer types better than write
SIMPLE PHOTO SHOWING MICROCOMPUTER TYPES |
minicomputer is a type of computer that possesses most of the features and capabilities of a large computer but is smaller in physical size
In the end of the blog I hope you guys to enjoy reading my humble blog

SECURITY ISSUES AND CHALLENGES OF CLOUD COMPUTING
Cloud computing security more simply, cloud security refers to a broad set of policies, technologies, applications, and controls utilized to protect visualized IP, data, applications, services, and the associated infrastructure of cloud computing
.
Cloud computing is usually described in one of two ways. Either based on the deployment model, or on the service that the cloud is offering. Based on a deployment model, we can classify cloud as: public, private, hybrid community cloud Why cloud computing is very important ? Cloud data security is vital, as you will want to be sure that your data is safe while stored in the cloud. A number of high-profile hacking cases mean that this issue is topical for many business owners, but the reality is that your data is much safer in the cloud, and security is an extremely high priority for all cloud storage services.

uses and impacts of the IS in the digital world
Information and communications technology
(ICT) is an extended term for information technology (IT)
which stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of
telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), computers as well as
necessary software, its storage and the audio-visual systems, which enable all
users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.
The information
system is a vital cog when it comes to development; Information technology and
the various information systems are pivotal to the development of any nation as
a whole.
Photo Expains ICT Simply
The Five Parts of Information System.
THE
POSITIVE IMPACT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM:
1-Speed in access to information and allows users to achieve a
goal (goal) quickly, like one of them make purchases of goods via the
Internet, with access to connected devices via the Internet such as a
smartphone, PC, tablet
2- Communication: With a comprehensive
information system, you should be able to communicate with others through
various formats, from chat to video chats and even hold conference calls.
Information system makes this all possible and thanks to the same, we can now
make long distance calls at a pittance of what we used to pay before. It should
also be pointed out that information system is highly adaptable, making it
possible for us to communicate over long distances. For example, even though
Voyager is now in interstellar space at a distance of 11 billion miles and
counting, its developers are able to send crucial information to it, thanks to
the robust information system on board.
NEGATIVES
OF INFORMATION SYSTEM:
1- Cost: Companies may have
to spend a bit to integrate the information system with the rest of their
existing architecture. And they would often have to either purchase or lease
new hardware, software for the same purpose. And they would have to train their
employees to learn to operate these systems efficiently.
Security issues: Given the tenfold
increase in online attacks over the last five years, the various security
issues that one may face as a result of one’s information system cannot be
overstated enough.
3-Mass layoffs, from
where with technological developments into action, in which human labor began
to be replaced by the era of robots. From the information system is the owner
of the company in general will keep costs with this digital era of globalization.
